| The CM1441 offers a
configuration of 4 channels of EMI filtering and 4 channels of ESD-only
protection. The C-R-C filter components consist of 30pF-100Ω-30pF,
providing greater than -35dB attenuation at 1 GHz and a cutoff frequency
of 60MHz.

The CM1442 is offered
in 6 and 8 channels of EMI filtering and utilizes C-R-C filter values
of 15pF-100Ω-15pF, providing greater than -30dB attenuation
at 1 GHz. The CM1442 features a cutoff frequency of 120MHz.
The CM1440/41/42 feature integrated ESD protection with up to ±15kV
contact protection on each channel, well beyond the IEC61000-4-2
Level 4 specification of ±8kV. These devices are also rated
for contact discharges of greater than ±30kV per the MIL-STD-883
(Method 3015) specification for Human Body Model (HBM) ESD.
The CM1440/41/42 are available in CMD's 0.4mm pitch Chip Scale Package,
a space-saving, low-profile package ideal for space critical, high
performance applications.

These new products are ideal for filtering
display and camera modules interfaces operating at up to 25MHz.
The six channel configuration fits within 2.36mm x 1.06mm and the
eight channel version within 3.16mm x 1.06mm.
In addition to filtering, these products also have ESD protection
up to ±15kV contact discharge per IEC61000-4-2 Level 4 specification.
CMD can apply its proprietary OptiGuard™ technology
to all of its CSP products to increase the robustness and durability
during placement on PCBs in the manufacturing process. These products
are available lead-free.

The CM1440, CM1441 and CM1442 are available for sampling immediately.
Production for both families is scheduled for Q3 2005. Pricing starts
at $0.36 each in 1,000 unit quantities for the six channel version
and $0.42 each in 1,000 unit quantities for the eight channel version.
